Pink chia seed smoothies in mason jars

You’re better than normal #BigGlassSmoothies.

You deserve something better.

Something prettier.

Something more extra. Because YOU are honestly probably really extra.

You deserve that extra layer. Welcome to the world of half chia pudding half smoothie. You will never go back, and you never have to.

In order for this to be a fully 5 minute recipe, there is a little prep work required.

The night before, Mix 1/2 cup chia seeds with 1-1.5 c almond milk. Mix it all up and let it sit in your refrigerator.

In the morning, Make your normal, blood sugar stabilizing smoothie & add some chia pudding on the bottom. It’s the perfect blend of simple & extra.

Why you want chia seeds to start your day:

- An amazing source of Omega 3 fatty acids (one of the most anti inflammatory properties you can find in food!)

- Great source of Protein and Fiber, helping you stabilize your blood sugar.

- High in Manganese, Phosphorus, Copper, Selenium, Iron, Magnesium, and Calcium

For the smoothie:

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1/2 cup frozen berries

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 1 scoop protein powder

  • 1 tbsp almond butter

blend in a high speed blender.

For the chia seed pudding:

  • 1/2 cup chia seeds

  • 1- 1.5 cups almond milk

Use more liquid if you like it thinner, and less if you like it thicker. Stir well and store in the fridge for multiple servings! The next morning, add 1/4 cup of mixture to the bottom of a mason jar or glass and finish with your smoothie!

Enjoy your omega 3’s!!!
