dessert recipe
Cubes of fudge on wooden cutting board

When you need something that isn’t full of sugar, but is a darn party in your mouth. Most sweet treats are going to spike your blood sugar and cause you to reach for another snack (or get shaky, moody, or fatigued) in about 2 hours when it crashes. Instead, here is an option full of healthy fats that balance your blood sugar levels and satisfy your craving WITHOUT creating more!

ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup peanut cashew butter
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 10 drops liquid stevia*
  • sea salt

You will need ice cube molds!

Melt coconut oil, peanut/ cashew butter, cacao powder, liquid stevia. Melt and add to 12 ice cube molds, sprinkle with A TEENY bit of sea salt & freeze.

FUN FACT:

Real stevia is actually a fine, green powder BUT in the US we process it with artificial sweeteners (like dextrose) to make it look, taste, and feel more like sugar. ALWAYS read the ingredients of your “health foods” Ingredients are listed in order of abundance. So when you pick up “stevia” and the first ingredient is dextrose, then there is literally more dextrose than stevia in your “stevia.”

That's just food for thought that you deserve to know! Enjoy your dessert and let me know if you make it!
