Ever had a bowl of vegetables with some stevia and called it dessert? I have. I have once tried to do a sweet cauliflower-only dessert. I truly just willed it into existence. I thought that if a naked man could control his body temperature using only his mental strength in Antartica, I could definitely begin to find such things delicious. It turns out that I am not (YET) as mentally strong as this man.
This is a perfect segway as to why I had to come up with an actually amazing tasting dessert with actually amazing superfood benefits. Life's too short to eat gross things. BUT LIFE ALSO TENDS TO GET SHORTER WHEN WE EAT CRAPPY THINGS- PICK YOUR POISON.
We have five ingredients, ladies and gentlemen. Five ingredients and 10 minutes and you will have whipped up a creamy AF, healthy AF, and mouth watering AF chocolate mousse that won't make you feel heavy AF.
1 ripe (not brown) avocado
1 ripe banana
2 tablespoons cacao powder
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/4 cup salted cashews
1 tablespoon natural vanilla extract
Optional for the meat heads: 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
Topped with cacao nibs! (or as my husband calls them, cacao nipples)
