My Favorite Tahini Dressing

A little smooth jazz for you, accompanied with a smooth way to jazz up your salads! Before you start screaming about how you don’t have tahini, it is available at EVERY grocery store (including Walmart, come on now) and it is just ground sesame seeds! There are a lot of "health foods" that you may not be familiar with that could possibly hold the power to change your life. (Tahini included) but if you keep eating the same way, it is the actual definition of insanity to expect to feel differently.


Every Mediterranean/Lebanese cook has been on the tahini bandwagon, so hop on board and I will show you some of my favorite ways to use it!


This is my favorite dressing from my 9 week meal prep guide!




Ingredients:


  • 1/3 cup tahini

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • juice of 1 lemon

  • Italian seasoning/ or rosemary😍

  • salt and pepper

  • 1/2 cup water



*If you want a bit of sweetness, add 1 tbsp maple syrup!


Instructions:


  • either shake well in a mason jar or blend in a food processor/blender.


Here is the fun part: you can customize this HOWEVER you want. Add some capers to make this more of a Caesar Dressing, or some pesto to give it an Italian flare, blend in some parsley and some cilantro to make this more of a chimmichurri style sauce.
