Chimmichurri Sauce


My all time favorite sauce, filled with healing herbs like parsley and cilantro, and healthy fats like avocado and olive oil.

Did you know, that cilantro will actually bind to toxins (like heavy metals) in the body and work to excrete them? You need some cilantro in your life.

It is so good:

  • on tacos

  • over steak

  • with roasted veggies

  • with quinoa

  • in a wrap

  • as a marinade

or however you like your sauces.

Ingredients:

1 handful fresh flat leaf parsley

1 handful fresh cilantro

2-3 cloves garlic

1/2 avocado

1 tbsp maple syrup

juice of 1 lime

salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup olive oil

water to thin

Instructions:

1. Add all ingredients except water to a food processor or blender. Pulse until all are combined into a thick paste and slowly add water until desired consistency.
